Guava is a 1.5–2 year old Lab mix, approximately 30 lbs., who’s sweet, loyal, and cautious. Once she trusts you, she bonds deeply and wants to stay close. She’s crate and house trained, great on leash, and playful with other dogs. Nervous with loud noises and new people, she needs slow introductions (soft voice, crouched body, open arms, food or toy). Her bark can sound fierce but she has never been aggressive. She likely survived a car accident before rescue and recovered well. Guava will do best in a patient, calm home with consistency and love.
