Pet food distribution is the first Wednesday of every month at Vashon Food Bank. You can get on the distribution list, donate food, or ask questions by emailing petfood@vipp.org. For more info, click HERE.
ALL YEAR SPAY/NEUTER DISCOUNTS
VIPP offers vouchers for free spay/neuter through NW Spay/Neuter in Tacoma. These vouchers can also be used on Vashon, with the owner paying the difference in the cost. For more information, email: voucher@vipp.org.
This VIPP program is ongoing and available to any Vashon resident. In coordination with Fair Isle Animal Clinic, you can keep your pets safe and make sure they are returned to you in a timely manner if they are ever lost. Call to schedule your $10 microchip now. (206) 463-3607. Remember to update your chip information whenever you move or get a new phone number too. Available throughout the year.
Along with a microchip, the best way to get your pet back super quick if they are ever lost is to have pet tags. VIPP and Pandora's Box have come together to offer FREE pet tags all year long. Just tell them VIPP sent you.
VIPP hosts a community bulletin board to assist in reuniting pets with their families. VIPP will post your lost or found pet to our Facebook page while our website undergoes a few changes. Our lost & found page will return shortly.
