Vashon Island Pet Protectors’ biggest fundraiser of the year celebrates all the pomp and circumstance of Hollywood. As we enter our 42nd year of service, we hope you will get your glamour on and join us for a night of fun and sparkle.
Will you go all in and join us for this year’s event? This auction raises 40% of VIPP’s operating budget for the year, and without a FurBall™, our programs and community would feel the effects.
So many people and animals depend on VIPP to be there for them. Just last year, volunteers worked over 5,000 hours so that the money we raise could go to our programs. Our No Hungry Pets program provided free pet food for 75 households and approximately 150 pets every month. Veterinary Bills were covered for 66 pet owners, and our Lost & Found services, and Low-cost Spay/Neuter helped another 150 islanders.

If you have never been to a FurBall™ before, you’re in for a treat. We’re here to have fun as we celebrate VIPP’s accomplishments and you, our supporters. This year's Hollywood theme means that our guests are the stars of the show. Dress up in your favorite character from a movie or tv show, or as the people behind the scenes.
The FurBall™ features live and silent auctions, cat box scoop for fine wines, passed appetizers and a sit-down dinner. Wine and beer by Palouse Winery and Camp Colvos, a special cocktail, and Nashi’s non-alcoholic Perry. It wouldn't be a FurBall™ without our master of ceremonies, Geoff Fletcher. We welcome back fundraising auctioneer, David Bestock, again this year. Guests can purchase a table of eight, come solo (or duo), and sit with other like-minded animal lovers.
The Live Auction features some great destinations, local and abroad. Great Vashon experiences and fine art. Our Silent Auction features a wide selection of functional art, gift cards, experiences, and handmade artisan crafts.
