Vashon Island Pet Protectors’ biggest fundraiser of the year celebrates Sin City, Las Vegas. As we enter our 41st year of service, we hope you will roll the dice, shake your tail feathers, and come celebrate with VIPP.
Will you go all in and join us for this year’s event? This auction raises 40% of VIPP’s operating budget for the year, and without a FurBall™, our programs and community would feel the effects.
So many people and animals depend on VIPP to be there for them. Just last year, volunteers worked over 5,000 hours so that the money we raise could go to our programs. Our No Hungry Pets program provided free pet food for about 100 families and 150 pets, every month last year. Emergencey Vet Bills were covered for 38 households, and our Lost & Found services, and Low-cost Spay/Neuter helped another 150 islanders.
Sponsors and Donors can can visit our event website here: http://VIPP.ejoinme.org/2025furball
If you have never been to a FurBall™ before, you’re in for a treat. We’re here to have fun as we celebrate VIPP’s accomplishments and you, our supporters. With a Las Vegas theme, our crowd will dazzle, dressed as showgirls, croupier’s, Elvis impersonators, tourists, and gamblers as they peruse the items available for auction in Sin City, putting down their chips on their favorite items and experiences.
The FurBall™ features live and silent auctions, cat box scoop for wines, heavy appetizers in a self-serve spread from Gravy. Wine and beer by Palouse Winery and Camp Colvos, and Nashi’s Perry non-alcoholic cider. It wouldn't be a FurBall™ without our master of ceremonies, Geoff Fletcher. We welcome back fundraising auctioneer, David Bestock again this year. Guests can purchase a table of eight, come solo (or duo), and sit with other like-minded animal lovers.
Last year we offered some great experiences from wine tasting in Italy, a week in a luxury Paris apartment, stays in two different Mexico locations. Many of these experiences and more will return this year.
We aren’t bluffing when we say, you’ll have a grand time for a great cause.
