Punkin has a shy disposition, and she can be easily intimidated by other cats which is why she ended up in a new home. Now, her person in that new home is moving out of the country and this transition would be too much for a sensitive girl like Punkin. Her new person has spent several months helping Punkin get comfortable and enjoy lots of pets and sleeping on the bed. Punkin loves the Sunday paper, and this has become a weekly routine for her absorbing current events. She is still shy when new people meet her. Punkin has become very used to her new person’s dog who does not bother her or try to play with her. Punkin does not like chaos or new dogs in her home. Punkin is used to a single person in a small house and is very comfortable there. She plays with toys and has completely given up her "house" where she used to hide. The "house" will come with her as it is a place she will feel very secure in a new home until she feels comfortable coming out and getting to know a new person slowly. She tends to love women who understand cats and has become friends with regular visitors but hides from any strangers until she feels she can trust you. Thank you for considering giving a warm, loving home to this precious girl.
