When Bridget first came to VIPP, she was so shy and fearful. With lots of time and attention from a certain volunteer, Bridget has become much more trusting. At first, a back scratcher was used to pet her and she discovered that she really likes being touched. Now, when she is positioned safely on her cat tree, Bridget will readily accept gentle petting all the while purring and making biscuits. She feels safest when she is in her cat tree. Bridget also fell in love at the shelter with a handsome cat named Spencer. They are often found snuggled up together on the cat tree. Bridget needs an indoor home with experienced cat owners who will be patient with her and let her settle in on her own. In exchange, her humans will have the joy of giving this kitty a special place in their hearts. And to double the love, she would love to have her boyfriend Spencer in her life.
