KIDS WERE INSPIRED TO CREATE THIS PLAY

A group of non-profit businesses on Vashon Island went to Chautauqua elementary to talk to students about their organizations. Vashon Island Pet Protectors (VIPP) was one of those organizations. The students in Miss Margie's third grade class were so moved by the work VIPP does that they created a play to help raise money and awareness for VIPP.

The four plays will address:

  • Adopting Amazing Animals
  • Feeling Like Fostering
  • Lost Puggie
  • Stop, Watch and Wait

Helping Homeless Pets, A Play in Four Parts was written, and directed by third graders. They will perform their play at the Vashon Center for the Arts, Thursday, June 13th at 5:30 PM.

There will be a bake sale starting at 5:30 and the play will begin at 6:00 PM.

Tickets are $15, but no one will be turned away. You can buy tickets in advance or at the door, the night of the event.

If you would like to bring pet food donations, they will also be accepted.
