Remy is an 8-year-old neutered male Chihuahua, and Rosie is a 3-year-old spayed female Chihuahua. Both are fully vaccinated.
Remy and Rosie are a spicy Chihuahua team that experienced Chihuahua owners will understand. Rosie is bonded with Remy, and this duo needs to be adopted together.
We're looking for an adult-only home with someone who has experience owning small dogs, preferably Chihuahuas. A retired person or couple could be a great fit, especially if someone is home much of the day.
Rosie has some separation anxiety and is still working on house training. Her new family will need to be patient and consistent with teaching her to potty outside. Dog diapers may be helpful during this process.
Both dogs are on a new feeding plan to help them lose weight, and their adopters will need to continue managing their diet and veterinary care.
Their ideal home will have a small, covered dog door leading to a securely fenced outdoor area, or an indoor X-pen where they can safely stay when not directly supervised. A fenced yard is preferred, but a home committed to supervised, leashed outdoor time could also work.
Remy and Rosie will need a family willing to follow through with dental care, regular grooming, and continued training. This includes working with a trainer on leash reactivity and using patient, consent-based handling.
We're looking for an experienced, committed home that understands Chihuahuas and can provide the structure, consistency, and care these two need.
