The donor may list VIPP as a beneficiary in their will. The distribution of the estate is then made after the donor’s passing.
Vashon Thriftway has generously contributed to Vashon Island Pet Protectors (VIPP) through their grocery shopping receipt program. For every receipt VIPP submits to them, the store will donate 1% of the pre-tax total to VIPP.
Vashon Thriftway receipts must include the person’s name and phone number. There is a one-year expiration date from the date of purchase.

Every dollar you donate to Vashon Island Pet Protectors helps ensure we can provide the necessary care for any island animals in need of re-homing and a second chance at loving. We are a 501(c) (3) organization so all monetary donations are tax deductible to the extent that IRS allows.
Vashon Island Pet Protectors is a community of island supporters and volunteers that are passionate about making a difference in the lives of companion animals in need and keeping them out of harm’s way. These animals come to us for various reasons from strays to changes in their owner’s life that may include the death of the owner.
Whatever the reason, we take the animals in with dignity for those surrendering them and without vindication. After all, It’s All About the Animals.
