A Letter from Gawain's Rescuer
Dear Friend,
Gawain is named after King Arthur's most spirited and capable knight, and the name suits him. He is fun,
mischievous, and quick to learn and adapt.
He was the third puppy I adopted in pursuit of a dream I have long carried, building a sanctuary for
rescued dogs. But with guidance from people more knowledgeable than me, I have come to understand
that Gawain is, by nature, more of a dominant dog than a team player, and he will do best without a pack.
It is with great regret that I am seeking a new home for him. His predecessors are older, less clever, and
less energetic, and Gawain wants and deserves to be the center of his family's attention. He is a perfect
candidate for a one dog household, or one with a single dog friend, where he can be one of two romping,
playful dogs rather than navigating a larger group.
I have no desire to let Gawain go. I believe he will thrive in a loving environment where he receives the
attention he deserves. He is extremely affectionate, loves to cuddle and give kisses, and will make an
ideal companion for children or adults alike. He will be sorely missed.
Please be good to him, and he will return your kindness and affection in scores.
