According to her former owner, Luca's breed is a Nebelung cat. True to the breed, Luca has a laid-back friendly personality. Luca's foster mom has told us how loving and sweet Luca is. Luca was left behind when her owner moved away and was found wondering the streets in Seattle. A neighborhood chat helped find out that the owner had given Luca to someone before she moved out of state. We were unable to contact that person. A woman in the neighborhood rescued Luca contacted her friend on Vashon Island who is a VIPP volunteer. That is how Luca came to VIPP. We know that Luca is 12 years old and now that VIPP has had her hyperthyroidism treated, she is in good health. With Luca's easygoing personality, she seems to be able to settle in for whatever is in store. Now that she has had her life on the streets, Luca is ready for a cushy life as an indoor kitty where she can be loved and adored.
